FCA introduces new charge for Form A applications under SM&CR
The FCA will now charge £250 for the submissions of standalone Long Form A applications for both Senior Manager Functions and Controlled Functions for Appointed Representatives.
With effect from 27th May 2022, the new charge means that any existing Appointed Representatives wishing to add another individual to the FCA Register with CF 30 permissions outside of the original Appointed Representatives application will be charged £250 to do so.
Payment is per form submitted and is only triggered when a standalone application is made. If a Long Form A is submitted as part of an application for authorisation or a notification of registration of an Appointed Representative, it will not be charged.
